Hamburger Stew

Introduction

My cousin, Beatrice, introduced my family to this comfort food in the 1960's. My cousin, Beatrice, introduced my family to this comfort food in the 1960's.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 pound lean ground beef
    4 - 6 medium potatoes, quartered
    3 large carrots, sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can 2% milk
    salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Brown the ground beef with chopped onion and drain fat.
Cook potatoes and carrots til almost tender.
Mix the meat with potatoes and carrots in a 2 quart casserole dish.
Mix soup and milk til smooth and pour over the meat and vegetables.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly.
