Whole Wheat Baked Pasta

Ingredients

    1 lb. Extra Lean Ground Beef
    1 box Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Penne, cooked
    1 can Del Monte Diced Tomatoes
    1 8 oz can tomato sauce
    15 oz low fat ricotta cheese
    1 cup shredded mozzarella
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    3 cloves garlic chopped
    1/4 cup chopped black olives
    italian seasonings

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Saute chopped vegetables in skillet with cooking spray. Add ground beef, cook until browned. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and desired amount of seasoning. Let simmer. Stir in the ricotta, mix well. Add cooked pasta. Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray. Pour in 1/2 the pasta mixture. Top with 1/2 cheese. Pour in remaining pasta and sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Makes 10 1-cup servings.
