Turkey with White Sauce

Introduction

Flavorful dish sure to fill you up. Flavorful dish sure to fill you up.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 pound Ground Turkey 93% Lean
    1 box of Penne Rigate

    White Sauce:
    4 TBSP Butter (unsalted will lower the sodium level)
    2 Cups Milk
    4 TBSP Flour

Directions

Boil the Penne Rigate according to package instructions.

Brown the ground turkey over medium heat. You can add seasoning to taste, or leave plain.

White Sauce:
In a medium sauce pan add butter and milk. Once butter is melted whisk in the flour and remove from heat. For flavoring you can add Garlic or Onion, or your favorite spice.

To Serve:
Mix White Sauce, Meat and Penne Rigate in a bowl making sure everything is covered by white sauce.

This makes 8 servings.

    OMG I made this for dinner tonight and absolutely loved it. My kids are kind of picky about what they eat but the recipes that I have been trying from this site has opened them up to trying other foods, and new dishes. Thanks for the recipe will definately make this again. - 2/2/10
