IntroductionI made this granola after looking at many other recipes. I like it. It tastes good with milk or lowfat/nonfat plain yogurt. I made this granola after looking at many other recipes. I like it. It tastes good with milk or lowfat/nonfat plain yogurt.
1 1/2 cups oats
1/2 cup almonds(cut or chopped)
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup honey
1 1/5 TBS cinnamon(more or less for your tastes)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Spread on an oiled baking sheet. Cook at 300*F for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. If you like crunchier granola, cook longer.
Remove and stir in any additional things you might like(1/8 cup chocolate chips are fun). Let cool then place in airtight container. Store in refrigerator. ENJOY!
