Homemade Vegetable Soup

Introduction

This has been in my family for at least 3 generations, and it is the best vegetable soup I've ever eaten! This has been in my family for at least 3 generations, and it is the best vegetable soup I've ever eaten!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    ox-tail soup bone
    6 large potatoes diced
    8 carrots sliced thinly
    8 stalks of celery sliced small
    1 medium onion diced
    put all in container to cook
    add 2 qts of tomato juice - refill juice container with water and add
    add a little salt and pepper to taste
    LET ALL THIS COOK FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES
    Then,
    add 3 16oz. bags of frozen peas and green beans
    CONTINUE COOKING FOR 20-30 MINUTES
    Near the end, add 2 cans of cream corn and 2 cans of pork and beans.

    I usually cook this in a 20 qt container and freeze in about 10 containers for quick dinners later.
