All the taste of Lasagna without the heavy calories. If you can find whole wheat lasagna noodles, you could use those and make "real" lasagna instead! Also, omit the red meat or all the meat in order to have a healthier dish! All the taste of Lasagna without the heavy calories. Directions

Cook whole wheat penne according to directions on package.

While pasta is cooking, mix ground beef and turkey together and brown. Drain any fat drippings and rinse meat to remove any left on. Return to pan and add pasta sauce, granulated garlic, italian seasoning, and black pepper to taste.

In with a blender or by hand, smash cottage cheese until a smooth consistency.

In a 9x9 pan, place the cooked penne. Mix in the pasta sauce and meat. Drop on dollops of cottage cheese and swirl into the mixture. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella to top and bake for 5 more minutes.

This can also be made as a skillet style dish without the baking. Simply combine all ingredients into a large skillet and sprinkle with cheese!
