Whole Wheat Bread

Introduction

Bread made from fresh milled wheat using the Bosch mixer. Bread made from fresh milled wheat using the Bosch mixer.
Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups warm water
    3/4 Tbsp yeast
    2 tsp salt
    2 3/4 cup hard Red wheat berries (milled)
    1 egg
    1/3 cup vital wheat gluten
    1/4 cup oil
    1/4 cup honey

Directions

Makes 2 regular loaves of bread

Add all ingredients to Bosch Mixer. Mix for about 30 seconds to combine ingredients, then let it sit covered for 5 minutes. Remove cover and mix on level 2 for 10 minutes. Turn mixer off and cover. Let it rise for 60 minutes in bowl. Remove dough and shape into two loaves in 2 greased bread pans. Cover with greased plastic wrap and place in warmed oven. Let it rise for 30 minutes. Remove plastic wrap but leave bread in oven. Turn oven on to 350 and set timer for 26 minutes or until golden brown on top.
