Fanny Farmer's Banana Nut Bread

Introduction

Wonderful! Low Sugar(ish) and no added shortenings or fat... now there is fat with the nuts, but NO ADDED fats. Wonderful! Low Sugar(ish) and no added shortenings or fat... now there is fat with the nuts, but NO ADDED fats.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3 ripe bananas well mashed
    2 eggs well beaten
    2 C. Flour
    3/4 C. Sugar
    1 t. Salt
    1 t. Baking Soda
    1 C. chopped Pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a loaf pan. Mix the bananas and eggs together in a large bowl. Stir in the flour, Sugar, salt and baking soda. Add the pecans and blend. put the batter in the loaf pan and bake for 1 hour. Remove from the pan to a rack. Serve still warm or cooled, as you like it.
