Flour Tortillas

Introduction

Home made flour Torillas, basic and delicious. My first batch was very good, I am going to experiment using herbs and flavoring like garlic to the mix. any more suggestions? Home made flour Torillas, basic and delicious. My first batch was very good, I am going to experiment using herbs and flavoring like garlic to the mix. any more suggestions?
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    *Flour, white, 3 cup
    Baking Powder, 2 tsp
    Salt, .5 tsp
    Margerine 4tbsp
    Garlic powder 1tsp Optional
    mixed herbs 2tsp optional

    add aprox 1 1/4 Warm water (a little at a time)

Directions

Crumb all the ingredients together in a large bowl, slowly add water until the dough is mixed and not too sticky. Cut into 16 peices, let sit for 10 mins, to relax. Roll out each ball, I rolled then hand stretched to get a very thin roll out, Heat a flat pan or griddle until hot, place the tortilla on o cook, just a few seconds each side will be enough. Serve warm and enjoy!
