Apple Smoothie

Introduction

Variation on an old favorite.
I've sometimes added 1 tbsp of all bran buds for a little extra fibre.

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1/2 Cup of Milk
    1/2 Cup of Water
    1/2 Cup of apples
    100 Grams of your favorite yogurt
    1 tbsp honey
    1/4 Cup of oats

Directions

I threw everything in a small blender and throw it in a plastic cup with a lid.
Makes for a good breakfast on the go.

    I love this recipe. It willbe great to have for those mornings when I am on the run. Subsitute strawberries for half of the apples and you have a variation that adds antioxidents! - 1/26/10

    I just gave this a try and liked it a LOT. I used steel cut oats, 1/2 a medium size Fuji apple and plain yoghurt. It has a fresh sweet taste and quite a bit of texture which I enjoyed. I ended up drinking the entire batch however as it made one generous large glass. - 1/23/10
