Super easy, super elegant, super healthy, and absolutely divine. This recipe requires no cooking, but can be served as a very elegant dessert or easily adapted to an even lower cal single serving treat! This recipe requires no cooking, but can be served as a very elegant dessert or easily adapted to an even lower cal single serving treat!

Ingredients

    1 large green apple, cored and very thinly sliced
    3 Tlbs of honey
    1/4 cup cinnamon candied walnut halves chopped
    1 oz Gouda cheese, nicely aged, sliced very thin and crumbled

Directions

*Slice the apples very thin into a bowl.

*Drizzle with honey and chopped nuts and stir.

*Crumble thinly sliced Gouda over salad. Gently stir and server.

I found these wonderful candied walnuts called Omega Munchies Caramelized Flaxseed Walnuts. If you choose not to used candied walnuts, I would recommend adding a shake of cinnamon to the salad.

For a lower cal, single serving treat use one apple, 1 T honey and just a few chopped nuts. Yum!!
