Quinoa Pancakes

Introduction

This is originally a vegan recipe that we have altered a bit to include Quinoa, giving the pancakes a slight nutty flavor, and using real milk. This is originally a vegan recipe that we have altered a bit to include Quinoa, giving the pancakes a slight nutty flavor, and using real milk.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 1/2 Cups flour
    1/4 Cup Quinoa Flour
    6 tsp. (2 Tbsp) sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 Cups Milk
    4 Tbsp Vegetable oil

Directions

Combine all dry ingredients in a medium size bowl. Add milk and vegetable oil to mixture. Mix until smooth. Spoon or ladle one pancake's worth batter onto heated griddle, and cook at medium heat. Cook until golden brown on each side. Repeat until batter is gone. Makes approximately 12 4" pancakes.
