Introduction

A great crock pot recipe that uses ground venison, but you can substitute buffalo or beef if you'd prefer A great crock pot recipe that uses ground venison, but you can substitute buffalo or beef if you'd prefer
Number of Servings: 11

Ingredients

    2 pounds ground venison
    2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained
    2 cans fire roasted diced tomatoes
    2 cups beef broth
    seasonings to taste

Directions

Makes 11 one cup servings (freezes well!).

Brown the venison or other meat in a large non-stick skillet.
Place venison and other ingredients in a slow cooker. Season to taste (I use liberal doses of Victoria Taylor's Texas red and smoky chipotle spices).
