Super yummy! But very rich, just a small slice will do! I used real sugar, since I'm not a fan of chemical substitutes, and it worked out really well. - 3/9/10

This is just out of this world. I used Hershey's sugar free chocolate chips and followed the recipe otherwise. Will definitely be made over and over again. I think I may add pecans next time. - 7/4/11

Splenda is terrible for you. If you use a substitute, use stevia or xylitol. - 1/12/13

Just made this, whole family loves it, it has a silky texture and it is just deliciouse, I must say though the batter is not tasty when licked off the spoon, it tasts like raw eggs, so deliciouse when done though! - 4/17/12

I had this for dessert tonight and it was absolutely wonderful. Just the right amount of chocolate that I was craving. I added a dab of frozen yogurt to it to top it off. - 12/16/08

This is a wonderful dessert for someone watching their sugar intake!! Had a brownie consistancy (couldn't be because I forgot to cool the chocolate before I put it in the eggs!!) I am going to add some walnuts next time. - 5/29/08

I really wanted to like this, but it just wasn't worth the mostly empty calories. It was a little dry and the texture didn't do it for me. - 5/17/08

It looks great. But seeing as how I'm allergic to Splenda, I'll have to experiment with Stevia. But I'll give it a try. - 5/5/08

I have a similar recipe which i use for gluten free cooking. For those who are diabetic or avoid artificial sweeteners, try the super-sweet herb Stevia. Stevia's slight aftertaste is masked by the chocolate. So my recipe remains gluten free and sugar-free, but definitely not guilt-free. - 5/5/08

Ive made something very similar before, you can substitute the unsalted butter for half fat butter and still get the same results but half the fat :) - 5/5/08

  • This recipe would be ideal if you are following a low carb diet, I will give it a try. It looks good, but I don't like the taste of splenda and wonder how safe it is to eat. - 5/5/08
