Pizza Hut Sauce (Clone)

Submitted by: ELLYMAY1590

Introduction

This sauce is so close to Pizza Hut's, no one will know the difference. Use it in recipes as you would any marinara sauce (thin with water if necessary). Link to source: http://www.ideamarketers.com/?pizza_sauce_

I used my own canned tomatoes and added all the spices and cooked it down to make a thick sauce. It was really good. I have been looking for a easy sauce and this is it. - 11/18/10

I made this sauce and LOVE IT! I used italian seasoning instead of marjoram, since I didn't have any. I also used garlic salt instead of regular, and added just a dash of red pepper flakes to add some kick. It was WONDERFUL, and the perfect consistency for pizza! - 3/6/10

  • I worked at Pizza Hut for years and I can verify that this recipe is very close. I added some red pepper flakes to give it that bit of zing. I want to try it next time with a salt substitute as well. - 1/20/13
