TVP Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

    1 cups TVP grinded in coffee grinder (5 times)
    3 teaspoons double acting baking powder
    teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    teaspoon cloves
    8 10 teaspoons flax seeds grinded in coffee grinder (5 times) or flax meal

    2 oz. Pure Baking Cocoa
    5 tablespoons boiling water
    1 cups splenda
    cup margarine or butter
    4 egg yolks
    3 teaspoons vanilla
    1 cups soymilk

    to 1 cup walnuts
    4 egg whites

Directions

Mix in bowl the TVP, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves and flax seeds. Set aside.

Mix chocolate with water to form chocolate paste. Add more water if needed. Add margarine and mix. Add splenda and mix. Add the egg yolks and mix. Add the vanilla and mix. Add the soymilk and mix.

Add liquid to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Add more soymilk if needed.

Mix in the walnuts.

Beat until stiff but not dry the egg whites and fold into the batter.

Pour into greased 9 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
