35 large frozen strawberries (about 4 cups) 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup water
Put all ingredients into a large skillet with a lid. Turn heat to high. Cover and allow to boil 5 minutes or until berries are thawed. Smash berries with a potato masher. Boil, uncovered for 10-15 minutes, stirring often. When the sauce begins to form a film on the bottom of the hot pan, the sauce is done. Serve over ice cream or pancakes. Makes 2 cups total, or 8 1/4 cup servings.
