Shari's Porcupine Meatballs

Introduction

Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 lb. 85% ground beef
    1/2 cup uncooked white rice
    1/2 cup water
    1/3 cup onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 15oz can of Hunt's tomato sauce
    1 cup water
    2 tsp Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix ground beef, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Shape into 15 balls and place in an ungreased baking pan.

Mix remaining ingrediants in a bowl and pour over the meatballs.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil, rotate the meatballs and cover them with sauce. Continue baking meatballs uncovered for 15 more minutes.
