Diane's granola bars

Introduction

Taste as good as a cookie and full of good stuff! We love these!!! Just don't overcook these or they will be hard! Taste as good as a cookie and full of good stuff! We love these!!! Just don't overcook these or they will be hard!
Number of Servings: 28

Ingredients

    4 cups rolled oats
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1 cup wheat germ
    1 1/2tsp. ground cinnamon
    3/4 cup flour
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/2 cup maple syrup
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 cup coconut oil
    3 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x13
In large bowl, mix together dry ingredients. Make a well in center and pour in syrup, eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix well using your hands. Pat mixture evenly into prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes until bars just begin to turn golden at edges. Cool for 5 minutes then cut while warm. Do not allow bars to cool completely before cutting and DONT OVERCOOK!!!
