Ingredients

    1 pound uncooked fettuccine
    1 tablespoon butter
    1 cup fat free half-and-half
    1/4 cup heavy cream
    3/4 cup (3 ounces) grated fresh Parmesan cheese
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    2 cloves garlic

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add half-and-half, cream, cheese, salt, and pepper; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; add pasta, tossing gently to coat.
