This bread was a mainstay of a restaurant of the same name in Stllwater MN. The restaurant closed in the 80's. Ingredients

    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 egg beaten well
    1 cup buttermilk
    2 T honey

Directions

Mix dry ingredients together
Combine wet ingredients and add to the dry, do not over mix.
Pour batter into a 8-9" cake pan that was greased
Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes
Best served warm
