Pam's Cabbage soup

Introduction

Just the tweaked an old recipe I feel in love with. Way too much sodium but I like it with a multi vitamin. Just the tweaked an old recipe I feel in love with. Way too much sodium but I like it with a multi vitamin.
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    I medium red bell pepper
    1 medium green bell pepper
    4 medium onions
    4 stalks of celery
    6 medium carrots
    2 packets Lipton onion soup mix
    3 cans stewed tomatoes
    1 large head of red cabbage

Directions

cut veggies to your desired size. I like large pieces. Stir all togehter in a large pot or dutch oven, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and just let it cook for about a half an hour. We love it and eat all day. It's the old cabbage soup diet soup with a little bit of zing.

Makes about 20 1-cup servings
