* Vital wheat gluten, 345 grams
* Tomato Paste, 57 grams
* Soy sauce (tamari), 1 tbsp
* Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 6 tsp
* Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
* Garlic, 3 tsp
* Marjoram, dried, 1 tbsp
* *Onion - Raw, chopped, .5 cup
* Rosemary, 1 tbsp
* Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
* *Cumin, ground, 1.5 tsp
knead for 5 minutes.
form into a log, wrap tight in two layers of aluminum foil.
bake in a 350 degree oven for 90 minutes.
slice thinly and serve on pita bread with onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce.

This was pretty good but I had a REALLY hard time trying to mix/knead the ingredients. It was TOO DRY. I ended up adding a some water, a little at a time. Next time I will slice it with an electric knife so I can slice it thinner. - 8/13/10

i mix it all in my kitchen aid stand mixer or a heavy duty food processor. i have since gotten a deli slicer, it works great for slicing this thinly.
