Mom's White Sauce for Perogies

Introduction

I like lots of white sauce so I use half of this for my serving but if some like less, it could serve up to four people. Nutritional information is for two servings.

This can be made on the stovetop as well, just keep whisking as it cooks and be careful not to let the milk burn.

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 tbsp butter, melted
    2 tbsp flour
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 cup milk

Directions

Melt butter in microwave. Whisk in flour and pepper. Microwave on high for 1 minute.

Slowly add milk, whisking all the time.

Microwave in 1.5 minute increments, whisking inbetween each time, until it boils and thickens. Serve immediately on perogies.

Serves 2-4.
