Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 Veal Steaks 125 grams each
    2-3 Tbls Butter ( I used lite Marg)
    8 Slices Mozzarella Cheese
    8 Slices Prosciutto
    8 Sage Leaves
    2 Tbls Roughly Choped Sage
    1/2 cup White Wine
    1/4 cup Chicken Stock

Directions

1. Using meat mallet pound veal till very thin.

2 Heat the butter in a pan and fry veal quickly till brown on both sides. Remove from pan and top each piece of veal with 2 slices of mozzarella, 2 slices of prosciutto, 2 -3 sage leaves. Secure together with toothpicks.

3 Under a hot grill, grill veal till cheese starts to melt approx 2 mins. Reheat the butter , add the chopped sage and cook for 1 minute. Add white wine and reduce the sauce slightly.

4 Pour sauce over veal and serve immediately.
