Introduction

Ingredients

    4-5 Onions, 20mls light olive oil, enough Knorr veg., stock granules for 6 litres of water, 1tblsp Madras curry powder, 1 tblsp Garam masala, 1 tblsp Cumin and 1 tsp of Turmeric.

Directions

This soup makes 6 litres and can be divided into 12 servings of 500mls each.
Fry onions in olive oil with all curry powders. Add 6 litres of water and bring to the boil. Simmer for an hour, can be put into liquidiser if required or left as is. Can also be thickened by adding flour if desired but extra calories would need to be added of course. Can be divided once cool and frozen into 500ml portions, to be blitzed in a microwave or bring back to boil on hob as/when required.
