Raw Apple Buckwheat Breakfast Cereal

Introduction

Very tasty and you can almost imagine that it is warm. Plan ahead a little because you will need to soak the Buckwheat groats for at least an hour. LOTS of variations - raisins, bananas, blueberries other dried fruits, coconut you name it! Very tasty and you can almost imagine that it is warm. Plan ahead a little because you will need to soak the Buckwheat groats for at least an hour. LOTS of variations - raisins, bananas, blueberries other dried fruits, coconut you name it!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    Apples, fresh, .5 large (3-1/4" dia)
    Buckwheat groats - 1/4 cup, 1
    Dates, 3 date (pitted)
    *Stevia packets, 1 serving (I used French vanilla)

Directions

Add 1/4 cup of buckwheat groats to a dish and cover with water for one hour or so. Wash the 1/2 apple and cut into chunks and add to a food processor along with the dates and stevia packet. When the buckwheat is done soaking rinse and drain then add to the food processor and process for 2-3 minutes. Enjoy!
