Steal Cut Oats make the very best oatmeal! So yummy!!!
This is just the basic oatmeal prepared. This makes 6 - 3/4 cup servings.

Ingredients

    1 1/2 Cups uncooked Steel Cut Oats
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil (or Coconut Oil)
    5 Cups Water

Directions

Bring ingredients to a boil, and cook 15 - 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Cook time is a preference. How chewy do you like your oatmeal? )
Remove from heat. Let stand 2 minutes.
Makes 6 - 6 fl.oz. servings (weigh 7oz each)

Serve with 1/4 -1/2 cup berries or other fruit.
