Pizza on TJ's herb and garlic dough with Lite Roni, Onion and 1/2 shrooms
Submitted by: WARRIORMAMMAIntroduction
I love making our pizzas at home now! We can be as creative (or not) as we want to be and I have complete control over the ingredients! I do not own a pizza stone- I use an old fashioned cookie sheet pan and it works great! I love making our pizzas at home now! Ingredients
-
(1) pkg Trader joe's garlic and herb pizza dough, rested
4 tsp shredded Romano
3/4 cup pizza sauce
2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
(30) Pepperoni slices, Gala Lite brand
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup finely sliced onion
1 1/2 sliced mushrooms
Directions
Makes 8 slices
Prepare dough according to package instructions. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Place 1 Tbsp olive on cookie sheet then carefully place dough on sheet getting it as close to the edges as possible. Once the dough is in place, add the rest of the Olive Oil to the top of the dough.
Add tomato sauce, spread out to about 1/2" from the edge.
Place pepperoni on the bottom, spreading them out evenly and making them uniform. Add most of the mozzarella and 1/2 of the Romano. Place the rest of the pepperoni, onion and mushroom (on one half) and add the rest of the cheese.
Place in oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and crust is cooked.
