6 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp salt
2 pkg or 4 1/2 tsp yeast
3 1/2 hot water (120-130 degrees)
Mix everything but water then pour in hot water and stir 50 stokes to blend.
Spoon mix into 2 greased pans - 2/3 full. Wet your fingertips to push batter into corners and to smooth out. Cover with wax paper and leave at room temperature.
Let it rise for 30 minutes - no more.
Preheat over to 400 degrees 20 minutes before baking. bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, lower heat to 350 and bake for 25 more minutes or until done.
