Turkey chili (OAMC)

Introduction

This is a make a head once a month cooking recipe. This is a make a head once a month cooking recipe.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Onion, chopped, 2 small
    Minced garlic, 1/8 cup
    Olive oil, 1 Tbsp
    Salt, 1 Tbsp
    Pepper, 1/2 tsp
    Ground turkey, 2 lbs
    Tomato paste, 6 oz
    Chili powder, 5 Tbsp
    Cumin, 2 1/2 Tbsp
    Oregano, 2 1/2 tsp
    Diced Tomatoes, 1 cans
    Green bell peppers, chopped, 1 medium

Directions

Cook onions and garlic in olive oil. Add salt and pepper. Add ground turkey and brown. Stir in tomato paste and spices. Once turkey is pretty well cooked, add tomatoes and green bell peopper and combine throughly. Bring to boil. Once boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Cool

Freezing Directions: Pour into shallow containers or bags.

Serving Directions: Thaw and reheat on stove on in microwave.
