Delicious, quick, can be made with italian turkey sausage instead of pork sausage - You'll have enough for your family and enough left over to freeze. Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    2 lbs ground beef (lean)
    1 pkg hot sausage (country or italian, can use turkey)
    Brown with 1 large chopped onion and drain off fat.

    Add 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
    4 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp chile powder
    salt, pepper, and garlic to taste
    1 large can/jar of tomato juice
    1 large tomato sauce
    1 tsp sugar (I used splenda)
    2 cans beef broth + two cans water
    2 pkg frozen mixed vegetables (fresh may be used)

    Simmer 1 hour - serve as us or over pasta/noodles

Directions

Brown meat with choped onions - drain
add all other ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.

makes 15 one-cup servings
