WW Pot Pie

Ingredients

    1 Tablespoon Butter
    2 cups frozen mixed vegetables of your choice (you could also throw in some mushrooms and onions)
    1/4 tsp. Paprika
    1/4 tsp. Thyme
    1/4 tsp. Pepper
    1 cup chicken broth (fat free)
    1/2 cup evaporated milk
    1 pound chicken
    2 TBL flour
    1 container of reduced fat crescent rolls

Directions

Pre heat oven to 375

Coat baking dish with cooking spray

Coat large pot with cooking spray, Add tablespoon of butter to pot and melt over medium heat.

(If using onion and mushroom and cook until tender, stirring frequently, about 5 minutes.)

Add vegetables, broth and chicken and cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in paprika, thyme, salt and pepper (all tsp)

In small cup combine 2 tbsp of flour and c of evaporated milk and stir in chicken mixture

Cover over medium heat until thickened, stir constantly, about 2 minutes

Stir in c of evaporated milk and cook until thickened, about 2-3 minutes more

Spoon mixture into baking dish and arrange dough around outer corners (only suppose to use 4, but i included all 8 in recipe)

Bake for about 15 minutes or until desired browness is reached
