Cabbage Beef Soup

Introduction

Ingredients

    8 oz. of lean ground beef, browned and rinsed
    16 oz. of Swanson's low sodium low fat beef broth
    red onion
    celery
    carrot
    cabbage
    whatever other veggies are in your fridge!
    cinnamon


Directions

Brown, drain and rinse your ground beef.. Throw in everything but the cabbage and the pinch of cinnamon and let the veggies cook until they're as soft as you like them.. Go light on the cinnamon because it's flavor develops as it cooks. Toss in your chopped cabbage and let it simmer until the smell of this soup cooking drives you insane and you have to eat. I transfer it to my crockpot and let it stay warm on the counter for a day or two and then freeze any leftovers.
