easy and tasty, very tender chicken easy and tasty, very tender chicken
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    whole chicken, approximately 3 pounds, one large leek, sliced, half package frozen broccoli and cauliflower, barbecue sauce, l/4 cup 3water

Directions

slice leek, lay in bottom of crock pot, add broccoli and cauliflower or any other vegetables you like, clean and rinse chicken lay on top of vegetables, baste with bottled barbecue sauce, add quarter cup water - cook until tender and meat is falling off bones, remove chicken from pot, remove skin, remove vegetables, chill broth and remove congealed fat,
remove bones from chicken and eat hot or cold, in soup or sancwiches, or just hot and covered with the cooked vegetables
