Introduction

My regular chili made healthier by using 93 percent lean ground turkey. My family didn't even realize I'd substituted...they just thought it was better than usual! My regular chili made healthier by using 93 percent lean ground turkey. My family didn't even realize I'd substituted...they just thought it was better than usual!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 Medium Onion, chopped
    20 oz. Extra Lean (93) Ground Turkey
    1 can Rotel Tomatos (original)
    1 can Hunts Diced Tomatoes
    1 can Light Red Kidney Beans, rinsed
    1 can Dark Red Kidney Beans, rinsed
    3 T. Chili Powder
    1 T. Cumin
    1 t. Garlic Powder
    Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Brown the turkey and onion together. Drain, if needed.
Add the rest of the ingredients including water. Heat to a soft boil. Turn down to a simmer for 30 mins. Serves 4
