Ingredients

    Beef, top sirloin, 900 grams
    Potato, raw, 2 cup diced
    Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    Carrots, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    Celery, raw, 2 cup, diced
    Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices
    Vegetable Cocktail (Allen's) 300ml
    Lipton Recipe Onion (ser=1/3 pouch,13g or 1 cup prepared, 39 gram(s) **this uses 1 pouch***
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp
    Herbes de Provence, .33 tbsp

Directions

Toss all ingrediants into slow cooker stir to coat. Add a LITTLE water if you like but not much. Turn on high and let cook for 6-8 hours. Note the use of less water means that thickener is not needed. Juices from meat provide liquid for broth.
