Beef and Barley Soup

Ingredients

    1 medium soup bone
    8 oz. beef stew meat
    1 cup barley
    1 cup chopped carrots
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 cup chopped onion
    4.5 quarts water

Directions

Bring bone and stew meat to boil
Simmer 2.5 hours
Add vegetables, tomato sauce and barley
Simmer another hour or until barley and vegetables are tender
