Introduction

Made from LAINEY_1970's recipe with same name, however with canned, diced tomato and just recalculated for my preferred serving size.

If you don't want to make a salsa but want clean try the brand Wholly Salsa (found at Target and Whole Foods).

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup (1/2 of a 15 oz. can) diced tomatoes, no salt added
    Onions, raw, 1/4 cup, chopped
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp
    Cilantro, raw, 1 tbsp
    Garlic, 2 cloves, minced
    Chili powder, 1/4 tsp
    Lime Juice, 1 lime yields

Directions

Dice white onion (use red if you like your salsa hotter), add lime juice, chili powder, garlic, cilatro, pepper and 1/2 can of tomatoes (or use fresh - 4 plum chopped)

Makes 8: 1/4 cup servings
