BK Pancakes: Basic

Introduction

This recipe does use Splenda. This recipe does use Splenda.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    White Flour, 1 cup
    Wheat Flour, 1 cup
    Baking Powder, 5 tsp
    Splenda No Calorie Sweetener, 2 Tbsp
    Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 1 Tbsp
    Applesauce 1/4 cup
    Water, 2 cup

Directions

In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Add applesauce and water, stirring until batter is smooth.

Heat griddle or large frying pan over medium heat until a drop of water dances before evaporating, and spray with cooking spray.

Pour and cook pancakes till dry around the edges, and flip. Cook till done. Makes about 16 palm-sized pancakes.

Optional: stir in frozen blueberries, chocolate chips, or chopped pecans.
