first layer 2 cups oreo cookie crumbs .5 cup chopped pecans .5 cup brown sugar .5 cup melted butter
second layer 2 cups icing sugar 1 package instant lemon pudding .5 cup softened butter 1 tbsp milk
third layer 8 squares semisweet chocolate.
makes 30 "eggs" Combine oreo, pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter. mold into egg sized balls. place on wax paper on cookie sheet in fridge for 1 hour. mix icing sugar, lemon pudding and softened butter, dribble 1 tbsp milk into mixture to make thick icing. Mold around eggs and then refridgerate for an hour. Melt 8 squares of chocolate in double boiler. using 2 spoons dip the eggs into chocolate to cover. refridgerate til hard, or overnight.
This sounds absolutely decadent!! Is this an Easter recipe? I have made Scotch eggs before, what does naniamo mean? If I can swic=tch all the fat and sugar ingredients, I would love to make this!! Sounds wonderful!
