    1 tbsp butter
    2 cloves garlic
    1 med onion
    1 tbsp plain white flour
    250 g mushrooms - any kind roughly chopped
    1 pint chicken stock (from bouliion or cubes)

Directions

melt butter
add onions and garlic and soften
add flour to thicken
