Broccoli Slaw

Introduction

I usually don't like onions, but I tried this salad and fell in love with it's flavor! I usually don't like onions, but I tried this salad and fell in love with it's flavor!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    * 1 package "Mann's Broccoli Slaw" (available at Wegman's or the Price Chopper with the bagged salads)
    * 1 bunch scallions, chopped
    * 1/2 red pepper, chopped
    * 2 cup Craisins
    * 1 cup sunflower seeds
    * 1 package Ramen "oriental" flavored soup (not included in nutritional info)
    * 1 cup canola oil
    * 1/3 cup white vinegar
    * 1/2 cup sugar

Directions

Not sure of the serving size. The person I got it from said it feeds 3 but then spark says thats almost 1,000 calories a person so not sure the actual serving size.

# Combine the canola oil, vinegar, sugar and the Ramen seasoning packet in a bowl. This is the dressing

# Set aside the Ramen noodles. If you desire, you can crush these in a ziploc bag and add them to the salad for crunchiness. However, I don't like to as its high in carbs and fats, and gets soggy after a while if left in the salad (making it bad for leftovers).

# Toss the rest of the ingredients together in a large bowl. Toss in dressing to taste.
