Meatloaf..

Introduction

This serves 8. Less if you cut bigger slices....I have modified this recipe. This serves 8. Less if you cut bigger slices....I have modified this recipe.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 small onion
    1 sm. stalk celery
    1 cup green peppers( I used mixture of red,green&yellow)
    1 tsp. chopped garlic
    1 tsp. black pepper
    dash of salt
    1/2 tsp ground sage
    1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup water
    1 1/2 lbs of ground beef
    1 cup oat meal
    1/4 cup wheat germ
    1 Tbls. Ketchup for meatloaf topping

Directions

Put the first 10 ingredients in a food processor and chop

mix ground beef, oatmeal and wheat germ together and and mixture from from food processor.

Put in a loaf pan. bake at 400 F for 1 hour. Drain off excess fat, brush a little ketchup on the top, reduce heat to 300F and bake for another 45 minutes.

makes 8 - 1" servings after cooked
