Garbanzo Beans (TastyBite Chunky) and Dried Garbanzo Beans Cooked Together

Introduction

To cut down on salt, I cooked a one pound bag of dried garbanzo beans and then mixed it with TastyBite Chunky Chickpeas. To cut down on salt, I cooked a one pound bag of dried garbanzo beans and then mixed it with TastyBite Chunky Chickpeas.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb Dried Garbanzo Beans that have been cooked
    1 Pkt TastyBite Chunky Chickpeas.

Directions

1. Check the dried chickpeas to make sure there are no stones.
2. Cover with water or broth. (I used water).
3. Bring to a boil, and then boil for 2 minutes.
4. Turn off heat and let sit for an hour or more.
5. After an hour, bring the garbanzo beans to a boil, turn heat down to a simmer and cook for an hour.
5. Check to ensure that Garbanzo Beans are tender.
6. Add TastyBite Chunky Chickpeas and cook for another 30 minutes.

Servings: About 12 One Half Cup Servings
