1 cup chopped onion 1 cup chopped green pepper 1 T. butter 1 can tomatoes with liquid 2 tsp. oregano 1 lb. hamburger 12 oz. spaghetti (cook and drain before adding) 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Saute onion and pepper in butter. Add tomatoes and oregano. Add hamburger. Simmer for 10 minutes. Place 1/2 of the cooked spaghetti in greased 9x13 baking dish. top with veg. mix. Sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheddar cheese. Repeat layers. Mix soup and water until smooth. Pour over casserole. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30-35 minutes. (It improves flavor if made the day before and covered with plastic wrap and put in fridge. If you do this, bake 350 for 1.5 hours.) 14 servings
