An easy recipe to toss into the crockpot in the morning and enjoy hot applesauce by the evening. Add more sugar, if desired. Ingredients

8 medium apples, peeled and chopped up into pieces
½ cup water
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
Peel and chop apples into chunks and put into crockpot. Add the water, sugar and cinnamon, sprinkled on top. Cook on low in the crockpot for about 8 hours (or on high for 4 hours), or until the apple sauce is the consistency you'd like. Stir, occasionally, if you can. Makes about six servings.
