Swedish Kringle

Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    First Part:
    1 cup flour
    1 cube margarine
    1 tbsp water

    Second Part:
    1 cup water
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp vanilla or almond flavoring
    1 cup flour
    3 eggs

    Third Part (Frosting):
    1 cup powdered sugar
    1 tbsp margarine
    1 tsp vanilla
    a few drops of milk

    Fourth Part:
    1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions

Mix first part as for pie crust. Press into a medium cookie sheet.

Second Part: Heat water, salt and vanilla to boiling. Take from heat and add flour. Beat until smooth. Add one egg at a time until blended. Spread over 1st part and bake at 350 F 30 to 40 minutes until golden.

Heat frosting ingredients and spread over top sprinkling nuts on top.

Cut into squares. Serve immediately while still warm.
