Introduction

My favorite snack! I found this a great substitution for chips with my lunch and my 4 year old always tastes the "dino food." Kale is the powerhouse vegee! My favorite snack! I found this a great substitution for chips with my lunch and my 4 year old always tastes the "dino food." Kale is the powerhouse vegee!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 cups (or 1/2 large bunch) Kale, washed, and torn into "chip" size pieces
    1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    Sea salt to taste

Directions

Wash and tear kale into "chip" size pieces.
Pile onto jelly roll pan and drizzle with olive oil.
Toss with tongs and distribute evenly across pan, season with sea salt to taste.
Roast in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes, turn with tongs and roast until desired crispiness is reached.
Enjoy!

I roast the kale on foil and wrap the leftovers right in the foil. To re-serve, pop it in the toaster oven on a medium toast level. Quick and easy!
