Hummus

Introduction

This is my homemade hummus. Its super yummy and I'm always making variations. This is how it it most of the time and I just add jalapenos or hot sauce for some kick sometimes.

This is great with pita, on sandwiches (instead of mayo) or with veggies. And its way cheaper than buying it!

Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

    1 Can chick peas
    2 tbsp tahini
    2 garlic cloves crushed
    1/4 cup chicken broth
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    2 tsp ground cumin

    **I like to add a little hot sauce as well. You can add hot sauce, chipotle tabasco, jalapenos or any types of peppers or others to give it a different flavour. Also if you really like garlic hummus you'll want to add another clove.

Directions

Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender. I use my magic bullet but need to divide it into two batches. Blend until smooth. If its not blending well you can add a little water. It will firm up a little once in the fridge over night.

1 Serving = 1 Tbsp
